What is Unlimited Kickboxing?
Unlimited Kickboxing Training Center is geared for those seeking the best in fitness as well as martial arts training. Classes are available for kids, juniors, adults, men and women. Whether it’s fitness, fun, or fight training, Unlimited Kickboxing has what you’re looking for! Unlimited Kickboxing Coach, Rudi Ott, wants to pass on his passion for training as well as help mold his students into positive role models and future champions. Rudi believes martial arts is a dynamic means of personal growth and self- fulfillment that if sustained will lead to a healthy and rewarding life.
Meet the Coach
Coach Rudi Ott began his study in martial arts at the age of 11 in traditional Chinese Kung Fu in Boston. At 13 he traveled to China for extensive training with the Beijing Wushu Team. After a 10 year break from martial arts, Coach Rudi found himself back in Boston at his childhood Kung Fu school.
In 1996, Rudi started training in San Shou and becoming a member of the U.S. National Team. In 1998 Rudi relocated to Vancouver B.C. to study internal Chinese Kung Fu and Qigong. In 1999, he moved to San Jose to resume his fighting career. That year he turned pro and captured the IKF U.S. Middleweight Championship in San Shou. In 2000, he took the ISKA Super Middleweight title, and 2001 the IKF Intercontinental title. In 2002, primed for the World Championship, Rudi defeated the unbeaten and 2 time Champion Dave Marinoble to claim the IKF Middleweight World title. Under Cung Le and Jivoni Jordan he has solidified himself as one of the most recognizable and top San Shou fighters in the World.
Kids Programs
We offer two programs, Kids Kickboxing, for ages 4-10, and Junior Kickboxing for ages 11-17. These programs offer the chance for kids, pre-teen and teenagers to develop self-esteem, self-discipline, confidence, physical fitness and coordination. Our goals are to develop students into well-rounded martial artists and develop their character and work ethic. Through training, students will learn respect for others and themselves, hard work and discipline. Our program focuses on the art of San Shou (Chinese Kickboxing), which is geared toward knowledge, technique, defensive and offensive skills. The first level begins with basic punching, kicking, and wrestling techniques. Testing is required for advancement. Light contact is required to apply proper technique and application. As students advance, training and sparring is geared toward competition. (Uniform and gear is required. Safety comes first!)
